With a programmable changer the operator is able to change the coin routing in the field. How do I send my faulty coin mech in for service and what will it cost? This will not stop the normal operation of the Guardian 6000. Coins can become jammed in there if the cashbox fills all the way up into the coin mech, or if the coins get caught as they are coming out of the coin mech.

The Quantum and Global coin mechs have two types of float available, the paydown float and the level float. Check that there is nothing to catch the coin as it falls from the coin mech to the cashbox. Either float mode is set by filling the tubes with the desired level of coinage, then pressing E+F to Enable Float, this will then set the float to the current level of coins.
